AI is becoming part of everyday life. People use it to understand a difficult page, begin a piece of writing, explore an idea, or get unstuck in the middle of a busy day. Yet too often it asks for something in return: your data, a monthly fee that never ends, or your patience with a setup only an engineer could love.
We started Atmovi with a simpler idea. Everything that gets done starts as a thought in someone’s head. What if your Mac could take that thought and run with it, quietly, privately, and well?
Start with a real problem
The measure of Atmovi isn’t how many features fit on a page. It’s whether you can sit down with a task that matters to you and leave with a useful result. Understanding your own notes. Finding the thread in a long document. Preparing a draft you’re proud to make your own.
We build outward from those moments. Start with a small set of tasks that work well. Listen to the people who use them. Improve what’s confusing, unreliable or unnecessary.
Help that gets on with it
A good assistant doesn’t ask permission to check the weather. It looks, and tells you. Atmovi works the same way: reading, searching and building simply happen, without you supervising every step.
What it won’t do is take a decision that could hurt your work, like deleting your files, without asking you first. Truly dangerous actions are blocked outright. Help should save you effort, never cost you something you can’t get back.
The same honesty applies to answers. AI makes mistakes, and a polished sentence isn’t proof. That’s why Atmovi shows where its answers come from.
Your Mac is the base
Atmovi lives and works on your Mac. Your files, your chats and everything it makes for you stay there, because they belong to you. We don’t have your data, so we can’t lose it, sell it, or train anything on it.
Some things do need the internet: downloading the AI model once, checking for updates, and searching the web when a question needs fresh facts. We explain each of these plainly, with no small-print surprises.
A free beginning that’s actually useful
AI should be approachable. A free version should let you discover real value, not stare at a locked screen. We won’t charge you each time your own Mac answers an ordinary question, and safety protections are never behind a paywall.
Own your tools
Your Mac already does the work, so paying every month forever doesn’t make sense to us. Premium is a single purchase with three years of updates included. After that, updates are optional at $49 for each further three years, and nothing you bought is ever taken away. We’ll always be precise about what you own, what you license, and what happens if you stop upgrading.
People before a dashboard
We need a sustainable business to keep building and supporting Atmovi. But revenue isn’t the only test of whether we’re doing the right thing. We would rather you happily use a free tool that genuinely helps than pay for something you regret. We would rather delay a feature than publish a promise we can’t keep.
